Day 215

One might say that modern science is, in many ways, ruining literary themes. Some philosophers argue that the traditional dichotomies between good and evil, substance and essense, experience and innateness, mind and matter, are all breaking down into multi-faceted and more complex theories of how the brain and the world operate.

But it will be a boring day, when the mysteries of the understanding and the will will be replaced with hard facts no less factual than chemical compositions of stones and universal gravitational constants.

Well, that day will be interesting. The next day might be boring, though.
